My keyboard plays notes, but a learned knob does nothing.
Note input is not channel-filtered, but a learned CC is. Check that the knob sends the same MIDI channel and CC number used when you learned it. Notes arriving successfully do not confirm the learned CC channel matches.
Which sample rate and buffer should I try first?
Start with 44.1 or 48 kHz and a buffer of 128 frames or larger. If you hear clicks, try a larger buffer and note your patch, oversampling setting and host version in a report.
