- Open the downloaded installer. Logic Pro and other audio hosts may stay open.
- Install for your current Mac user. The AU and VST3 go into your user Library’s Audio/Plug-Ins folders; the standalone app goes into your home Applications folder.
- If your host was open, restart it when convenient. Choose Mosasaur Mono on a software-instrument track, or open the standalone app.
- Start from Init, choose Play 2x and leave Layer B off for the first recipe. Turn your monitoring level down before playing.
Updates preserve your personal presets, samples, wavetables and preferences. Replaced Mono plug-in bundles are backed up outside the plug-in scan folders. Earlier Mosasaur and Mosasaur Poly products remain separate.

Mono includes both layers and all Mono sound-design features. Poly 3 and Full Poly belong to the separate Mosasaur Poly product. This Mac download supports Apple Silicon; Intel Mac and Windows builds are not included.
